About Course
Measurement and Verification Fundamentals
The Measurement and Verification Fundamentals course is designed for general practitioners, experts, and managers, and its primary objective is to foster the development of an understanding of the fundamental components of energy savings measurement and verification (M&V).
Evaluating the performance of energy conservation measures is useful for demonstrating the success of energy efficiency projects, improving installation operations, obtaining financial assistance, and increasing awareness among users of the installation. This can be done for energy efficiency projects that are part of regional efficiency programs or for internal projects.
This training lasts for one day and covers the fundamental M&V concepts, as well as the impacts and roles of each step in the M&V process. Throughout the course, participants will be provided with illustrative examples to help them better understand the material.
This introductory M&V course will provide you with the foundational knowledge necessary to apply M&V concepts. It does not matter if you are an experienced professional who wants to acquire general knowledge about M&V principles or an informed manager who wants to understand the steps of M&V in relation to energy efficiency projects; this course will provide you with the information you need.
Measurement and verification, also known as M&V, refers to the process of designing, measuring, collecting, and analyzing data in order to verify that a facility has achieved significant energy savings as a result of the implementation of energy conservation measures.
Meters, data collection, monitoring, energy data estimation, and report validation are the tools that are utilized to achieve this goal. By facilitating communication between a company and its project partners for new, existing, and industrial buildings, M&V specialists can help a business save money.
The Measurement and Verification Fundamentals Training Program helps educate and qualify individuals to learn and apply the fundamental concepts of all modern M&V standards, guidelines, and protocols.
The program also helps educate and qualify individuals to learn and apply the fundamental concepts of all modern M&V standards, guidelines, and protocols. Those working in energy efficiency and the measurement and verification of energy performance are held to higher professional standards as a result of this program, which raises both the technical and ethical bar.
